Guided tour of TRIUMF labs!

Thank you all for your interest, the deadline for registration has now passed.

TRIUMF is one of the world’s leading subatomic physics laboratories, located right here in Vancouver, BC. They are home to the world’s largest cyclotron particle accelerator, as well as a system of high-energy rare isotope beams. Please join us on November 24, 2017 for a guided tour of TRIUMF laboratories, where you will experience many of TRIUMPF’s experiments and facilities first-hand, as we follow the path of the proton from its origin, bound in a hydrogen atom, to its destination in targets and detectors.

We will be providing a FREE pizza lunch after the tour. Take advantage of this networking opportunity to discuss all the groundbreaking science being undertaken here in the lower mainland.

TRIUMF is located on the UBC campus and transportation will be provided from SFU. Visit the TRIUMF website for directions
